Roušavý and Mielke secure themselves the World Cup

With the European championships (Bude) results now in the WQF World Cup 2011 final standings can now be released. In six races of the series in Spain, Czech Republic, Great Britain and Germany numerous athletes battled it out with one another to score World Cup points. After an exciting season the winners of 2010 appeared also in this year again as the most constant ones. With the men the Czech Leoš Roušavý got the Crystal trophy again, also the German lady Ellen Mielke was by the women at the top of the female standings...

World Cup 2012 - Roušavý again on the top rung, German Women dominating

With a terrific final race in Bude (GBR) two weeks ago, the World Cup 2012 drew to a close. After a long and tough season including races in the Czech Republic, Germany, Great-Britain, Slovakia and Spain, Leoš Roušavý (CZE) and Lisa Maria Hirschfelder (GER) secured themselves the cristalline World Cup.
The Czech Leoš Roušavý recorded his fourth overall victory in succession...

Magnificent World Cup finale in Cornwall

The final race of the season, in Bude – England, was blessed with amazing weather, the calmest sea in the race’s history, no sign of any surf at all! Blue skies and warm temperatures brought lots of competitors out 30 individuals and 16 teams, plus lots of spectators who enjoyed the excitment in this quiet little Cornish town! It was the last World Cup event and also the last event of the British Trophy season, so athletes were looking for points to improve there final British standings and World Cup rankings too...

Sprint title bestowed upon Roušavý and Fiebig

Last weekend the Quadrathlon community met at Lake “Ratscher” in Germany for the Sprint World Championships. In warm and dry conditions around 70 athletes competed over the distance of 0.75 km swim, 25 km bike, 4.7 km kayak and 5 km run. In the end, the Czech Leoš Roušavý and the German Antje Fiebig secured themselve the title after a thrilling race...
