Preview Quadrathlon World Cup 2014

In the coming season 2014 tensions will rise, with a full race calendar - in total 11 races. As in this year’s format only the best four races will count for the world cup standings. The possibilities to score points will make a tense season. The World and European Championships and last World Cup will have extra points. World Cup 2013 - Decision in the last race

The World Cup wasn’t to be decided until the final race of this year - Bude/England! The Race would decided whether the World Cup went back to the Czech Leoš Roušavý or go for the first time to German Stefan Teichert. Michal Háša had also been in the lead and veteran Miroslav Poborský had won two championship races a third win may well of put him in the lead too. Overall, the Czech athletes were strong and on form, four of the first six places went to them. Fiebig and Teichert take the big win by home world championships

Antje Fiebig and Stefan Teichert where crowned world champions in the world quadrathlon Championships in the middle distance. In the lovely setting of Bergsee Ratscher in Thüringen, Germany. By ideal conditions the competitors battled over the distances of 1.5km swim, 40km Bike, and 9km kayaking and to finish 10km running. The races had many favourites but no clear favourite...

Hard Duel vs. clear victory in the PolskaMan-Race

It was for the first time that a World-Cup-Quadrathlon took place on Polish soil - in the small town of Wolsztyn. The sun was shining merciless, while a middle distance had to be completed. The generously measured swim of about 1.8k was located in the Wolsztyn lake. The 40k bike course with a large and a small turning point route was really fast thanks to only 20 meters of elevation and fairly good covering. Podborsky unbeatable even at the European Championships

Podborský and the race for the second position

By the biggest races in his home country, the man suddenly arrives back on the scene although he has raced seldom in the last few years in Quadrathlons , but when Miroslav Podborský does race we then we know he means business and is almost unbeatable and that at 47 years old. That’s just what happened at the Quadrathlon Sprint world championships last weekend in Tyn nad Vitavou in Czek. 2014 BerlinMan includes again a Quadrathlon

European Championships in Great Britain: Clark and Hirschfelder win the race

The European Championships in Quadrathlon (middle distance) took place in the English town Brigg (North Lincolnshire). Steve Clark (GBR) and the German athlete Lisa Hirschfelder won the title over the distance of 1.5k swim, 8k kayak, 36k bike and 11k run.
