World Cup final for 2014 in Bude Cornwall

To finish the season we saw the traditional World Cup in Bude Cornwall. With perfect race conditions 17°C water temperature the day was set for a great race. After a two lap swim, Andrew Smith entered the transition area in 1st but followed only 6seconds behind by the 1st lady Helen Dyke. (3 times world champion 2006-2008) who was back on the scene. Teichert and Immendorf win at Bergsee Ratscher

After the world championships last week. Quadrathlon moved to Thüringen Germany. The organizer put on a great event as always. There was still points to collect for the world cup trophies.
The field was mostly filled up with German competitors and looked like it would be a top race with László Szabó and David Kunderer trying to top the favourite Stefan Teichert...

BerlinMan Sprint World Quadrathlon Championships 2014

Three times had BerlinMan a Quadrathlon presented, 1998, 2000, and 2002 and now the sprint world championships in 2014. With a 750metre Swim, 4km Kayak, 24km Bike and a 5km run. The scene was set with a huge quality field of 130 Athletes. Perfect settings on the Wannsee, closed roads for the bike and a super atmosphere from the spectators. There were many favorites in the men’s field, Albert Corominas (ESP) Leos Rousavy (CZE) Stefan Teichert (GER). By the ladies field Antje Fiebig, Susi Pawel and Lisa Hirschfelder all from Germany...
