Paddling, in either a Canoe or a Kayak,
is an important part of Quadrathlon. It is often the sport which gives the winner a real advantage.

Dear sportfriends and quadrathletes...
On behalf of the Executive of the WQF may I wish you all a happy and successful and multi-sport New Year!
With last year's successful season behind us, our thoughts and efforts now turn to the this 2008 season. The WQF Committee is working hard to ensure that you have an exciting, varied and high quality series of races to compete in as part of our international World Cup. We are now in the process of contacting race directors and potential race directors, seeking information, offering advice, checking venues, persuading, and sorting out stuff like insurance and race equipment.
We have a new calendar of races for the 2008 summer season is here on the website. However, if you know of a new quadrathlon (swim, bike, run, kayak) or kayak triathlon (run, bike, kayak) or any combination of these that is taking place anywhere in the world in 2008, could you please let me know as soon as possible? I would rather hear about each race 10 times than not at all - so please help us to help you by letting us know right away. The shortest of details will do, thanks to the glory of Google.
The local event organisers may not wish to be a part of the WQF World Cup, but there are always athletes from other areas looking for new races to use as training runs for the World Cup, and I would expect that most race organisers would like to have some new talent in their events.
So get those race details flooding in and Good Luck with the coming season.
